Sapporo TV tower, Tokyo (Japan)

The Sapporo TV tower, built in 1957, is a 147-meter (482-feet) high television tower resembling the Tour Eiffel in Paris. Located in Odori Park, it has digital clocks installed on each of the four sides to draw people's attention. The tower is open to tourists and from the observatory deck (90 meters or 295 feet) visitors can enjoy the entire view of the Odori Park, Mount Okura, and Maruyama. The official mascot of the tower is Tawakkie along with an unofficial one, named Terebi-Tosan (Television Daddy).
